Biography
She is still very young but her spirit is strong and she is committed enough to succeed. Safura is already a winner - for now in the Azerbaijan's national selection for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. She was born September 20th 1992. Safura comes from the family of creative people. Her father is an artist and her mother is a pianist and a fashion designer.
Thanks to her parents Safura started to show an extreme interest for fashion since early childhood. She showed her offbeat growing talents in fashion design while working on the very first stage outfits which she created with her mother's help.
Surely Safura’s main talent is music and her true life’s passion is singing. She started to sing at the age of three. At six she had a first stage performance. And ever since then she always is trying out in different competitions. She is a winner of Azerbaijan's talent show “Yene Ulduz” which is analog of worldly famous Pop Idol show. Safura is a young sex symbol of Azerbaijan. This red-blooded young woman has a perfect combination to represent Azerbaijan - the Land of Fire. She is self-confident, stylish and talented person.

Thank you for congratulations! Who am I? Just a girl, really! Seriously, I haven’t still quite understood what’s going on around me. For me and everybody else I’m Safura, I’m 17 years old and I want to make my dream come true – to sing on the main European stage at European Song Contest.
Who is the everyday Safura? How is your day go by normally (not in a Eurovision period). What do you like to do in your free time?
Everyday Safura is an average girl from Baku who adores music, fashion and movies, I love to play saxophone, I always watch all fashion shows and I’m a huge Twilight fan. I guess pretty solid picture, don’t you think? To be serious, I’m studying, learning something new every day of my life, trying to make some time for my friends and for my hobbies but the most important thing for me is to be able to sing every day and every minute of my life. Everyday Safura is Safura who sings.

I have to attend lots of parties because of my show-biz career, but those arranged by my friends are usually the best parties, and I love them.
