Dressed to kill

Party-party-party! When going out every girl wants to look so cool that people should be looking at her with their mouths open wide. Getting a lot of attention is fun! I have to attend lots of parties because of my show-biz career, but those arranged by my friends are usually the best parties, and I love them. Ok, now I decided to share some of my tips with you, so that you and your outfit could be the star of any party. First, ask yourself some simple questions that will help you pick out the basics of your outfit.

I hate being overdressed, it is so embarrassing! So, when choosing what to wear, I always check which style would be the most appropriate for the situation, also trying to look at ease with my dress – I wish it didn’t look like I was trying too hard. So, for an in-house party is would opt for black or dark-wash skinny jeans. I also love shorts, they are very stylish and sexy. Shoes - flats (if it’s a casual friendly party I would choose flats that are comfortable but hot because I’d have to stay on my feet or dance a lot, I love dancing), or comfy platforms. I love to wear strappy platform sandals with loose knee-high socks, and guess what, it’s this season’s cool Burberry look. Then, a nice top showing off some of your body (only some!) with visible earrings is always a good combination. To complete the picture, maybe I would do something cute and fun with my hair, like making it curly while it is usually straight. If it’s a dressier party, I would wear a dress, something plain with a sexy hint, like a backless piece by Burberry Prorsum or a tight golden-beige Calvin Klein dress. I like the everlasting “lingerie dress” trend which is back again. It is girlish and sexy – I love lacy silky dress by Dolce & Gabbana worn with a black leather corsette. If I want something more crazy I will wear a dress by Jean-Paul Gaultier – his new spring and summer collection makes women look like some strange, bright and multicolored birds. Important notice: I never TRY to look too sexy, it hardly ever works, not even on stage. Ufff, that was a long post but I love the topic, hope you enjoy it too. Speak to you soon, and see you at the party!
